bradI work in the Starbucks online strategy group on social media as the community manager for our growing communities on Twitter, Facebook and emerging networks. We currently have the largest brand page on Facebook with over 5 million fans and over 500,000 followers on Twitter. The Altimeter Group recently found Starbucks to be the most Engaged Brand online.

This is my 11th year working for Starbucks. Previously, I was a barista in Seattle area stores for 5 years, and in the Entertainment division for 4 years, working on digital music initiatives like the Hear Music Media Bar, the iTunes wifi music store at Starbucks and the Now Playing Screens.

I live in West Seattle, with my wife Andrea and two cats; Franny and Zooey. I currently play the trumpet in an indie rock band called The Preons. In my spare time I love all kinds of music, technology, playing my trumpet, good beer, my motorcycle, photography, and good conversations.
