Indian food
With my wife out of town this evening, I opted to go to a restaurant and get some drinks rather than cook for my self. So, I went to an Indian restaurant two blocks from my house. I chose to sit in the bar portion and read my Jazziz magazine. While I drank my gin and tonic and read the magazine I heard a patron at the bar say; “you know what the problem with the Beatles is, and don’t get me wrong, I love the Beatles. But the problem with the Beatles is that they couldn’t play live.” I started laughing. I couldn’t believe it. Ya dude, the Beatles couldn’t play live.
It reminded me of the news of Maharishi dying from earlier this week. He was an awfully important dude. He introduced transcendental meditation to the west. He also had a song written about him by the Beatles. The name was changed from ‘Maharishi’ to ‘Sexy Sadie’ prior to recording.
